Bought them last winter, they keep me and my passengers safe. The first time we had icy rain. in about 5 km, there was 5 cars that flew off the road, but I didn't even felt the need to slow down. Studs last longer, and are actually silent at road and highway speeds. I only hear them at slower speeds. I have a subaru forester awd, and with these tires I can drive in 3ft of powder snow and a solid foot and a half in packed snow. I haven't gotten stuck with them even in the worst canadian blizzards. The thing I like most, is that the nokians, are predictable. They offer the BEST performance on ice, snow and deep snow. Grip stays constant, and they let you feel when they're at the limit of grip. Over all, I'm impressed. Wet and dry performances are good considering a studded winter tire.

I've bought that brand new set of four SUV 10 Studded to replace my very similar low mileage set Hakka 9 equally SUV and Studded, and I've notice a traction increase of between 10 to 15% better overall, a pure adrenaline rush when paired to a 4 x4 high performance vehicle, if you check regularly for equal tire's pressure, you will have those tires for the life of your car, so for myself I consider them like an investment instead of an unnecessary expense
