Every item you see around you has been transported on tyres at least once. How many times a week do you need tyres to get somewhere?

The world's population will reach an estimated 9 billion by 2050. Nokian Tyres endorses free movement of people and goods. At the same time, the growing flows of people and goods pose an enormous challenge in terms of raw material consumption and environmental impact. Drivers, tyre manufacturers,
and authorities all play a role in solving this complicated equation.
Safe and environmentally friendly products and production
Nokian Tyres wants to be a pioneer in the development of the tyre industry and the safety and environmental friendliness of its own products. Examples of this are non-toxic HA (high aromatic) oil-free production and the development of the rolling resistance of tyres.
In 2006, in recognition of its development work, Nokian Tyres received a commendation for its eco-friendly tyres in the Finnish round of the "European Business Awards for the Environment" competition.
