We bought 4x 165/65/14 2 months ago 2 for sons car and 2 for ours,we have just had the beast from the east no loss of grip and watched 4x4's get stranded on a27 between junction 2 and 1. Unbelievable grip and stopping power. Have ordered 6 more through My tyres, so 2 cars will be weatherproofed, could we get stickers for cars as not many people here know of nokian and they should be made aware. 10/10 for this product and better then having a 4x4 with kumho a/t road venture so can you let us know about suv size 255/65/16 so we can replace these many thanks for such a good tyre

I have these tyres on two cars. The best all year tyre on public roads. If one drives a car in a decent manner, they are all the tyres they'll ever need.

I've have been in the auto business for over 30 years. My Service Manager suggested That I try these on my 2015 Toyota Venza. A world of difference in all road conditions. From now on , These are the only tires for me. A definite BUY

Bought 225/55R17 97V weatherproof tyres 2 years ago: perfect handling and grip in snow, ice, slush, heavy rainfall and dry road. Very predictable behavior and precise steering. Probably best grip ever I experienced with any tyre. However with citroen C5 tourer car experienced significant cupping on rear tyres (this is a front-wheel driven car). It is an absolute must to exchange front-rear wheels with every servicing (every 10-15000 km) to avoid unbalanced wheels and extreme noise and vibration on the steering wheel. Also ask your service station for perfect wheel alignments.

Bought 5 Nokian weatherproof tyres for a new Audi A3 and after 18k miles and no appreciable wear, noise levels from the back tyres became unacceptable. A round trip of 100 miles was required to returned them to Nokian who say 'we concluded excessive “Saw-Tooth or Heel-Toe” wear to the tyres' & 'A minor amount of “saw-tooth” pattern wear is normal and has no discernible effects on comfort. More conspicuous wear of this kind points to specific operating conditions (improper inflation, excessive toe-in, low-wear applications).' So not their problem albeit I can show none of their excuses apply. The tyre noise spoiled our enjoyment of the car. However no replacement or compensation offered. Strange how the working front tyres did not suffer. I am extremely disappointed in Nokian's attitude to customer disafication and will be even more shocked if this feed back appears anywhere but on the cutting room floor. I'm probably £300 worse off for choosing Nokian.

I've waited a long time to post this review and figure now is a good time, with the recent drop in temperatures and increase in rain. I purchased 4 x Nokian Weatherproof 225/45 R17 in January 2016. So we're now at 21 months and over 30K miles on these tyres. For all that time we've lived in a rural hilly area and have never had one issue with grip with these tyres. The car always feels planted on the road, no matter what the temperature. We've driven several times through heavily snow covered roads where some people in their 4x4s with non-winter tyres and certainly not Nokian on have struggled. As soon as these were fit I noticed a significant reduction in noise at motorway speeds, especially on those sections that are still concrete, such as parts of the M25 and A1(M) near Leeds. I've also noted less aquaplaning than with some other brands. All in all, I couldn't be happier with these tyres. They're the most important thing between you and the road - I can't see any reason in the UK to put anything else on a vehicle.

Αγόρασα 2 ελαστικά τον Ιανουάριο 205/55/16 91 H weatherproof. Πολύ καλη πρόσφυση (άριστη) και στο βρεγμένο και στο στεγνό οδόστρωμα!!! Μετά όμως απο 8 μήνες (5000 klm) η φθορά των ελαστικών στις άκρες τους ειναι αδικαιολόγητη έχει φύγει το πέλμα. Κρίμα!!!!

This is the worst tires I have ever experienced by far. I have a brand new 2018 BMW 520D. Swapped the original 225/55 R17 Continental PremiumContact 5 with Nokian Weatherproof 225/55 R17 97V. The tires are mounted on the same original rims. Every little ireregulation in the asphalt is felt. The noise from the tires are very loud and annoying. Sounds like a broken wheel bearing. Looks like the tire is way to stiff. I have used All-Weather tyres from other brands earlier. They are not like this! Can't understand why this is not cached during tire reviews?

Just swapped a set of original 225/55 R17 Continental PremiumContact 5 with Nokian Weatherproof 225/55 R17 97V on my brand new 2018 BMW 520xD. The tires are mounted on the same original rims. No sport suspension. This is the worst tires I have ever experienced by far! Every little bump in the asphalt is felt. My car is shaking and rattling. The noise from the tires are very loud and annoying. Sounds like a broken wheel bearing. Looks like the tire walls are to stiff. I have used All-Weather tires from other brands earlier. They are not like this!

Some all weather tires are better in summer, some in winter, if you prefer winter performances, safe summers and good looks pick Nokian, they wont disappoint you

These tyres were very good in winter, and in Summer too! Excellent! As expected :). But for me wear is bad. I crosschanged them, but still after 18000 km 2 tyres (out of 4) has only 2mm tread

I was very happy with Nokian winter tyres on my first car, so naturally I decided and bought 2 for the winter on the other small car, after the winter ended bought another 2, the ones that were left on the back side in 1.5 years became unbearably loud, so loud that a test mechanic almost replaced the rear wheel bearings confusing the sound of the tyres, they have developed small cracks from year 1 like all nokian tyres and probably will have to be replaced so thats a total of 3 years usable tyre, decide for your self which is best.
