“Safety features are important because of the cramped areas with cars and a lot of people around,” says Kalle Jäppi, who is in charge of the road maintenance. “These siped tires help the machine stop faster, and the studded tires are more comfortable than chains especially on snowless roads.”
But there is more to a tire than just good winter properties. Today, the value of sustainable manufacturing is appreciated more and more.
