On 5 May, 2008 Nokian Tyres received an announcement from Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co LLC according to which as a result of a share transaction concluded on 30 April 2008, their ownership has decreased under the level of 5 % of the voting rights and share capital in Nokian Tyres plc. Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co LLC now holds a total of 6,220,002 Nokian Tyres' share representing 4,99 % of company's 124.630.700 shares and voting rights.
