Nokian Tyres Flexforce® VF is a unique new tire technology that enables more efficient agricultural work by creating an XXL-sized ground contact and by reducing loss of power. The first tractor tire utilizing this technology is Nokian Tyres Soil King VF, which has already proven to be ahead of competition in third-party tests. A new flotation tire for high-capacity tankers and trailers, Nokian Tyres Float King VF, complements the Flexforce VF range. Present for many years on the French market, Heuver has recently significantly strengthened its resources on this territory in order to continue its international development on all agricultural and industrial products.

Coordinated by the Oulu University of Applied Sciences and funded by Business Finland, the LEVITOI project brings together several companies in search of solutions for safer and less soil-compacting machine work on soft surfaces. Nokian Heavy Tyres is the leading company in the project, and the research has already produced promising results for enabling e.g. tires that monitor the driving surface properties.

The Association for Finnish Work has awarded the Key Flag symbol to Nokian Heavy Tyres’ heavy-duty tires, wheels and retreading materials. The symbol can be awarded to products manufactured or a service produced in Finland, with a minimum domestic content of 50 percent of their break-even cost. Design from Finland mark indicates the products are designed in Finland – and the company has demonstrably invested in Finnish design.
