Fast transport, slow wear — The new Nokian Tyres Country King G2 offers solutions for lower operating costs
Nokian Tyres introduces a new-generation flotation tire engineered for the changing needs of agricultural transportation. Country King G2 is a high-value trailer tire for agricultural and general-purpose use, offering reliable performance from field to road.
The next-generation Country King G2 dual-purpose tread pattern design delivers balanced performance and reduces loss of power on both on-road transport and field conditions. It features a wide tread and large overall dimensions that provide increased tread contact in both lateral and longitudinal directions. This results in more efficient weight distribution, minimized soil compaction, and reduced rolling resistance in field conditions.
The non-directional tread design of the Country King G2 also makes tire rotation easy, helping to extend service life.
Many factors in trailer use and road conditions can cause a wear difference between tire positions. Tire rotation can help extend tire life by evening out wear across the sides,” says Tero Saari, Product Manager at Nokian Tyres.
Flexforce® VF technology available in R26.5 sizes
R26.5 sizes feature Nokian Tyres Flexforce® VF technology, well-renowned for its efficiency. Flexforce VF construction provides advanced flotation capability for minimized soil compaction and lower crop damage. It retains the key advantage of VF tires, which is more load capacity with lower pressure than standard flotation tires, since the load index is 2–4 points higher with the same pressure. Due to Flexforce VF technology, Country King G2 has an advantage over normal VF tires as it generates larger and more efficient ground contact.
"Unlike other VF flotation tires on the market, Country King G2 VF can handle up to 4 bar of pressure. They can be used with standard pressure, but when paired with CTIS, it allows for a much wider range of pressure adjustment. This means lower pressures in the field to protect the soil and higher pressures on the road for excellent stability,” Tero Saari says.
Availability
The next generation Country King G2 will become available between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026 as a product family of seven sizes. The available sizes are: VF600/55R26.5, VF620/60R26.5, VF650/55R26.5, 560/60R22.5, 600/50R22.5, 650/50R22.5 and 710/45R22.5.
