Test-winning performance now available for mid-horsepower tractors: Nokian Tyres expands the Soil King VF range with new 65-series sizes
Nokian Tyres is adding two new tire sizes to its Nokian Tyres Soil King VF product family, offering high performance for demanding agricultural work. The new sizes, VF650/65R38 and VF540/65R28, are specifically designed for mid-range tractors in the 100–200 hp category.
The Soil King VF tires utilize Nokian Tyres Flexforce® VF technology, which brings significant advantages in working efficiency and fuel economy. This advanced technology enables an XXL-sized contact area, reducing energy loss and lowering fuel consumption. At the same time, Flexforce®it enhances driving comfort and smooth operation both in the field and during road transport. Lower tire pressures and reduced soil compaction support sustainable and efficient farming. Additionally, the tires offer excellent grip, high traction, and a long service life.
Verified performance in independent tests
Tests conducted by the German Agricultural Society (DLG) have shown that Soil King VF offers best-in-class performance and lower fuel consumption. Compared to competitors, the tires delivered lower slippage, better fuel efficiency, and greater area coverage per hour.
The tires have also undergone extensive field testing. Test users have particularly highlighted the tires' soil-friendliness, stability, and road performance.
Sizes and availability
The Soil King VF tire is now available in 14 common sizes for mid- and high-horsepower tractors, with the range continuing to expand in the near future.
The Soil King VF product family now includes:
VF650/65R38, VF540/65R28, VF650/65R42, VF540/65R30, VF600/60R30, VF710/70R42, VF650/85R38, VF600/70R30, VF600/70R28, VF710/75R42, VF600/70R34, VF650/65R34, and VF650/60R34.
The new sizes, VF650/65R38 and VF540/65R28, are available immediately.
New products featured at Agritechnica
Nokian Heavy Tyres will showcase a wide selection of new tire technology and expertise from Finland at Agritechnica 2025, the world’s largest agricultural machinery trade fair, held in November 9–15, in Hanover, Germany, November 9–15, 2025. The Nokian Heavy Tyres stand can be found in Hall 19/20, at location B05.
The booth will feature new tires, high-quality wheels, and other innovations developed for demanding agricultural use. Designed and manufactured in Finland, Nokian Tyres products are built to serve professional users all over the world – regardless of the conditions.

Finnish quality
Nokian Tyres’ heavy tires, retreads, and wheels have been awarded the Key Flag Symbol by the Association for Finnish Work, indicating that the products are made in Finland. They also carry the Design from Finland mark, highlighting their Finnish design.
