Jarmo Makkonen runs contracting company J. Makkonen, which specializes in excavator contracting and winter maintenance work. The company has two tractors, a wheel loader and three excavators. The company chose Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta TRI for the wheel loader when its use clearly began to focus more on winter than summer. 

Mr. Makkonen was looking for a tire that is suitable for winter conditions., and safe for snow plowing and sanding.
