Nokian Tyres Powerproof 1 comes with the Dual Zone Safety technology, which ensures that handling is precise and controlled. The tread design provides a large contact area with the road, allowing the driver to feel how the tire grips, adapts to surface, and immediately reacts to steering. The logical and stable handling is complemented by excellent wet properties, increased wear resistance and low rolling.

IMPROVED WET SAFETY

When a tire encounters more water than it can disperse, aquaplaning occurs. To maximize aquaplaning resistance, the shoulder areas of Powerproof 1 are equipped with Trumpet Grooves, which are optimized for water flow, and accelerate the removal of water. The Trapezoidal Flow Grooves also effectively prevent aquaplaning by storing water and pushing it away from between the tire and the road surface.

Nokian Tyres Powerproof 1 is developed for demanding use at higher speeds. The sturdy and durable structure increases stability, while the new Power Sense compound improves wet grip, reduces rolling resistance, and improves the service life of the tire by adding wear resistance.
