Van tires are special products with structures and materials that are specially designed for heavy transport. The tread patterns and rubber compounds are developed for professional use. The multifunctional tread pattern offers excellent handling and stability for all seasons. The Snow & Slush grooves are designed to maximize slushplaning and aquaplaning resistance. The grooves store water and slush between the tire and the road and accelerate the flow away from the tire.

Versatile all-season performance

The Season Sense concept combines innovative technical features on the tread design, rubber compound and structure. For versatile all-season performance and reliable safety on snow and dry roads, we tailored the tread compound for impressive wet grip and tread life and modernized the tread pattern to support year-round safety and comfort.

Efficient slushplaning and aquaplaning resistance

The Snow & Slush grooves in the middle of the tread are designed to improve slushplaning and aquaplaning resistance. The grooves store water and slush between the tire and the road and help accelerate the flow away from the tire.

Driving safety indicator

Nokian Tyres Seasonproof C1 features the Driving Safety Indicator (DSI), which helps the driver know when they should change their tires. The indicator shows the remaining tread depth in millimeters. The numbers fade away as the tire wears down. For safer winter driving, Nokian Tyres recommends a groove depth of 4 to 5 millimetres. The snowflake symbol remains visible until the groove depth is four millimetres. Once the snowflake symbol wears off, the driver should consider replacing the tires to help maintain adequate driving safety.
