The new Nokian NTR 46 truck tyre adds durability in versatile earthmoving use
The new Nokian NTR 46 truck tyre withstands the challenges of rough surfaces. The sturdy on/off front tyre is particularly designed for gravel, timber and milk trucks. The robust structure combined with a tear and puncture resistant rubber compound developed to endure hard use guarantees steady movement.
The open, large-block tread pattern and wide grooves ensure efficient cleaning and firm grip in varying conditions. The M+S marking means that this strong special tyre delivers its promises all year round.
Stone ejectors in the grooves increase reliability during hard use. They minimise the possibility of sharp stones penetrating the tyre. This further extends the service life of the tyre by preventing damage to the tyre body, especially when driving on uneven surfaces.
Thanks to the premium-quality rubber compound and low heat generation, the Nokian NTR 46 wears evenly and maintains its excellent properties throughout its life. Low rolling resistance means that the tyre rolls easily, this reduces fuel consumption and harmful exhaust emissions. The Driving Safety Indicator (DSI) patented by Nokian Tyres shows the remaining depth of the main grooves in millimetres.
The admirable price/quality ratio typical of the diverse Nokian NTR product family translates into cost efficient mileage. The first size to be launched is the new 315/80R22.5, and the range will be complemented with the size 385/65R22.5 later in the autumn.
