Nokian Tyres Intuitu® 2.0 Smart Pressure Assistant wins the Agri-INNO 2026 award

Nokian Tyres Intuitu® 2.0 Smart Pressure Assistant is smart tire technology developed for Nokian Tyres Soil King VF tractor tires. While driving, the system determines the axle load and provides the user with a tire pressure recommendation based on the actual load and operating conditions.

Traditionally, determining the correct tire pressure in changing operating situations can require time, separate work stages and technical expertise. Intuitu® 2.0 combines in-tire sensors, load detection and a mobile application, making a tire pressure recommendation based on the actual load easily available to the user. The technology helps agricultural professionals make effective use of the properties of VF tires in different operating situations.

The Agri-INNO award is a wonderful recognition of the innovation’s practical significance and Finnish product development expertise. In its rationale, the award jury particularly highlighted the innovation’s diverse practical benefits and strong international potential.

“The winning innovation combines significant potential to improve agricultural productivity and advance sustainable development. The solution offers opportunities to improve soil health, fuel efficiency and cost efficiency. In particular, the innovation’s international potential emerged as the decisive factor in the final stage of the assessment. The innovation received strong scores across all assessment criteria and stood out from a highly competitive group of finalists,” explains Jyrki Wallin, Executive Director of the Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners (MTK).

Finnish award follows international recognition

In 2025, Intuitu® 2.0 was awarded a silver medal in the international AGRITECHNICA Innovation Award competition. An independent expert jury awards silver medals to innovations that represent a substantial improvement to an existing product or process and have practical relevance for agriculture.

Intuitu® 2.0 is available for Nokian Tyres Soil King VF tires.
