Our Ivalo test center in Finland, often called “White Hell”, is where we, the northernmost tire manufacturer in the world, test our winter, all season and all weather tires.
During the freezing days from November to April, we are testing real-life performance in a way no computer model ever could.

Demanding tire tests on wet and dry roads throughout the year
Situated under the hot Spanish sun, our test facility in Santa Cruz de la Zarza hosts a variety of tracks, where summer tires, all-season tires and winter tires face demanding driving situations.
Those that can take the heat, will become part of the journey to a safer world that begun over 80 years ago.
Flexible and precise testing near our product development unit
The test center in Nokia, Finland is located around the corner from the Nokian Tyres head office. At the test center, Nokian Tyres simulates almost all driving situations on northern roads from April to November.
The test center is particularly advanced to versatile testing of tire wet grip due to a modern irrigation system.
The safety of our tires stems from a thorough understanding of the Nordic conditions complemented by innovation – a continuum of ideas harnessed to improve safety, durability and environmental friendliness.
