NOKIAN TYRES EXPANDS ITS VIANOR TYRE CHAIN IN NORWAY

Nokian Tyres has purchased Grimstad Vulk AS and Mandal Vulk AS tyre companies in Norway. The acquisition consists of 4 tyre shops and one retreading factory in the southern Norway. The consolidated net sales of the companies are approximately NOK 33 million and their business has been very profitable. The companies employ a total of 21 people. The seller side was Mr. Magnus and Mr. Oddvar Evenstad.

- These companies have not sold Nokian branded tyres at all. The acquisition completes our Vianor chain in strongly industrialised southern Norway, where we have earlier had only one Vianor outlet in the same area, says Mr. Seppo Kupi, Managing Director, Vianor Holding Oy.
