For extreme durability, Nokian Seasonproof SUV comes with our unique innovation: reinforced Aramid sidewalls. Making sure that the tire can withstand various hits and bumps that may occur while driving, the sidewall structure contains extremely strong aramid fiber. This fiber helps to protect the tire from sudden impacts and cuts.

SEASON SENSE CONCEPT

The Season Sense concept combines three innovative technical features in the tire's siping, tread design and rubber compound. For versatile all-season performance and ultimate safety on snow and dry, we tailored the multifunctional all-season siping and modernized directional tread pattern. The maximum wet and slush grip is accomplished by the new all-season water and slush channels, and the new high silica rubber compound takes care of the excellent durability, wet grip and low rolling resistance.

SUMMER PERFORMANCE AND WINTER SAFETY

The new tread design also offers improved summer performance. The improvements are evident in the tire's wet and dry braking properties, as the tailored siping offers shorter stopping distances and safety in corners by advanced traction and control. The snow claws situated between the tread blocks provide powerful grip and stable driving feel. DRIVING SAFETY INDICATOR

Nokian Seasonproof SUV features the Driving Safety Indicator (DSI), which helps the driver know when they should change their tires. The weardown indicator shows the remaining tread depth in millimeters, and the numbers fade away as the tire wears down. For safe winter driving, the required groove depth is between 4 and 5 millimetres. The snowflake symbol remains visible until the groove depth is four millimetres. Once the snowflake symbol wears off, the driver should buy new tires to ensure adequate driving safety.
